who we are
Vocal Vortex is a registered barbershop quartet in the Barbershop Harmony Society. All four members are also proud to be registered, and full time members of the Western Hospitality Singers barbershop chorus in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Murray Young harmonizes with high tenor notes
John Simpson harmonizes with baritone notes
David Kampel sings the melody line
Darcy Allen harmonizes with low bass notes
We perform a wide variety of songs in the four part a cappella style.
